The 2021 Ottawa Regional Heritage Fair

Virtual Awards Ceremony

May 29, 2021 — Join us on Rogers tv on Thursday, June 3 at 8 p.m. as the Ottawa Regional Heritage Fair recognizes Canadian history and heritage projects created by students in the Ottawa region. Hosted by special guest emcee Daniel Richer, official town crier for the National Capital Region, this bilingual virtual ceremony highlights student excellence and creativity through a variety of community-based awards.

Although our Heritage Fair looks a little different this year, we’re delighted to be able to bring everyone together virtually to recognize our students’ creativity and achievements. Ten research projects from four schools were submitted this year and we are proud to announce the award recipients on Rogers tv. Throughout the ceremony, we will be featuring messages from our students and partners, as well as from a volunteer judge, a teacher, a student alumnus of the Fair, and much more. Our committee worked hard this year to put together our virtual fair and update our website; but this team goes beyond the virtual walls of our committee. It extends to our teachers, our students, our volunteers and our partners. Together, we work to preserve and share Canada’s past for future generations.

Please feel free to share this message with your contacts and invite them to watch this year’s fair!
